London Day One

Here are some pictures from my first official day wandering around London with my sister. We walked along the Thames and naturally ran into hordes of other tourists. I really enjoyed all the decorative architecture in that area. You simply don’t see benches featuring camels or posts festooned with koi fish in the States… The weather has been surprisingly nice so far and I do hope it remains that way!

Outfit details:
UO jacket, shoes, & belt
F21 dress
Jess LC necklace
Cheap Monday sunglasses
Deux Lux purse

  1. Looks like you've had a lovely time so far, one of my favourite things to do in London is just walking along Southbank, along the Thames. It's crowded at times but there is always something to see!

I love seeing everyone's holiday snaps of London, it's kind of fun seeing everyones different perspectives of the city!

  13. Made me really happy to notice a few details from Blackfriars Bridge - I lived right next to it all this year, so I was quite used to tourists. Whenever I crossed the bridge, I'd punch myself mentally and say "Never, ever, stop appreciating what an amazing and beautiful place you live in" :)
    Enjoy London! :)

  32. Gorgeous photos! Enjoy London! It's one of my favorite cities in the world.

I love your blog and I've been following your for more than a year, but I really wish you re-consider truncating your posts in Google reader. I use google reader b/c I like to scroll through many blogs at once, rather than opening up each individual page. Please re-consider.

  38. @gina, I do understand what you're saying, but I actually took a poll and the majority of people prefer the summary. In addition, GoogleReader never got the layout of my posts right and I hate how visually ugly and misrepresentative of the posts it was! I organize my words and images in a certain way that probably isn't very noticeable or important, but I still drives me crazy that GoogleReader ruins it...
Anyway, I might switch back one day, but not at the moment. I'm sorry.
