There's something about wearing a bright, colorful outfit that just makes me so happy and a little juvenile as well! It seems like mostly children wear really colorful ensembles and our palette becomes more muted with age. So whenver I overload on primaries in my wardrobe I feel some sort of connection to my youth (because you know I'm secretly an old lady!). A bright outfit is also quite uplifting during the winter days..and everything feels better when I'm being swallowed alive by a cozy scarf.

Love all the colors! The yellow dress is stunning!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful color pairings! I always feel like I should only wear bright colors together in warm weather, but that needs to change! I'm officially inspired!
ReplyDeleteI really like colorful outfits myself. They make me feel happy, and giggly. I think they really do bring out the child in people.

I kind of remember back in the day (wow, seems so long ago) when dressing in crazy color schemes was the "in" thing in the w_r community. Haha. Or was I imagining that? Well, I always enjoyed those, and I do feel like my outfits have significantly dropped on the color scale in the last couple of years. You just inspired me to revisit my old photos and see what I can come up with! (:
ReplyDeleteLove your colourful ensemble! I was chatting to my aunt the other day and she told me that she does not wear much bright colours since she has gotten older. I wonder why that is? I think it's silly when people say things like "I'm older now, I can't ... anymore"
