Sometimes I choose to purchase pieces because they're sort of odd. Case in point: this shirt. It's a boxy plaid button-up which is basically the opposite of my usual style, but it had this other plaid peeking in the rolled cuffs and these bizarre sequin patches in the shoulders and those details intrigued me. The elements don't really seem to work together, but that's also what makes the shirt so interesting.
I agree, the sequin detail makes this shirt! I have many items in my wardrobe that I have bought mainly because I admired the ingenuity of the designer, and not so much because it suited me or my style. It's fun, but sometimes a bit useless... :)
That shirt is really unique! I love it, and the way you wear it is super chic. Those shoes are adorable-- thanks for the credit link so that I can check them out! :)
I just love those Jeffery Cambells! You have taken a few pictures here before I think!? Refresh my memory, whatis it or was it, its such a great back drop.
This is such a cute outfit and the sequined details are very interesting. Who would've thought plaid and sequins would go so well together?! And those shoes are so cool. They're very 70s inspired but so modern with that super high heel.
haha I couldn't agree with you more on being attracted to odd clothing. SO many times, I come across something and think "What?? This is so stupid looking. Actually, it's kind of interesting...." then ten minutes later, I can't stop thinking about it, and I realize "I LOVE IT AND NEED TO HAVE IT." Love the top. It's such a unique and original thing to have. And if you're anything like me and you DIDN'T buy it, you would be thinking about it forever haha.
The low wide pockets was the first thing I noticed but the sequins are definitely the most awesome bit about this shirt :) The different plaid in the cuffs is awesome too. It 's definitely in the details! Awesome find :)
Wow i love this shirt and especially the way you put everything together.....and yes i agree with "Lauren", this outfit makes you look taller INDEED! :)
I completely get that. I love all the different patterns, and textures on that shirt. It's unique, and the little details make it fun. My Heart Blogged
The shirt is awesome! At a first glance, it looks like a plain plaid shirt, but the sequins and mixture of plaid definitely makes me go back for a second look. :)Love it!
I love the sequin detail! You're right; it's so different.
