In the evenings, as the sun is setting, my mind likes to wander down twisting corridors and through uncharted waters. It ponders alternate realities, taking leaps and bounds while my body sits frozen in place. I go on grand adventures without a passport or suitcase and return feeling changed. Yet, these alterations must be invisible to the naked eye, for no one ever asks me where I've been or seems to notice I wandered away at all. As each journey concludes right where it began I wonder how this time will be remembered. A summer spent sedentary in little red dresses while my mind ran away from me.

Welcome to my little blog that blends a bit of nature, fashion, wanderings, and books in this dusty corner of the Internet. I hope you find it a moment of quiet in the wild today.

The Seychelles sandals are super adorable. =)

The dress is so cute! and I always love to see you in milkmaid braids. I'm waiting for my hair to grow out enough again to have them for myself.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely adore your writing style.
ReplyDeleteAh, I was thinking of buying that dress! Such a great little cut-out.
ReplyDeleteCan I ask a photography question? When you focus the picture, do you focus on the rocks? Whenever I try and take my own picture with a backdrop with depth it insists on focusing on the horizon and leaving me in the foreground a bit fuzzy....
You write so beautifully I read your blog just to see what lovely thing you will have said. And for your wonderful clothes of course!
ReplyDeleteLovelovelove those shoes! So gorgeous. And the cutout in the dress is a great touch.
