I just received this boxy little purse from my new sponsor Cloth Magpie and decided I had to shoot it at the abandoned trains because the structure reminds me of vintage luggage (always a good thing). Not a too surprising connection since the handbag designer began making purses to breath life into her collection of vintage fabrics. Now the store sells a variety of different bags made with a mix of vintage fabrics and new textiles. I chose the demi-day case in trumpington twilight. I forgot to take pictures of the pretty pink interior with neat little pockets, but it did extend the feeling of retro purses and luggage to me; it feels just as sturdy and well-crafted as the vintage suitcases I've handled in the past. Everything about the bag made me feel ready for a trip--too bad these trains aren't running!
