I paid a visit to the old base where I lived until this summer, so I naturally had to take a few pictures in the moat wall. The base has gotten even quieter than it was before, looking quite like a ghost town now and I was able to wander through all my old haunts completely undisturbed. It was such a fascinating and pretty place to live I'm rather sad I had to move, but I'm still close enough that I can venture back whenever I feel the need for a change of pace.

@Anonymous, they're like a reddish brownish color; if you click on the link I list you'll see them on ASOS's tight in very accurate lighting (the lighting inside the moat is a bit off). :)

ReplyDeleteBeing part of a military family has afforded you access to so many magical, mystical looking places that normal humans would never dare venture.
ReplyDeleteI think the moat is second only to the ghost train, out of all the places you've visited.
I'm so glad you get to visit the moat whenever you feel the need to venture into dark hallways that can be illuminated by the brilliance of your camera and outfits.

You are wearing my dream dress! Ahh! So lovely.
ReplyDeleteYou are like a doll with your curls! And loving how the colours of your clothes work with the floor colour here!
ReplyDeleteIt’s always nice to go back to a familiar place, even if it is only for a brief moment. Your darling dress and the color scheme of it all, oddly enough, is a fitting reflection of the moat wall; it has this dreamy warm quality I guess.
ReplyDeleteIf there was an award for Queen Vintage, it would go to you. No doubt about it.

This very well may be one of my favorite outfits to date.

The dress is seriously cute! And the color of your tights is amazing!
ReplyDeletedo you put make-up? or just lipstick?
ReplyDelete@Jean, I always wear eyeliner (I do the cat-eye winged look, but rather subtle so it doesn't really show in pictures) and foundation; I'm not wearing lipstick here--when I wear lipstick it's usually a bold red or purple lip, nothing subtle b/c my lips are naturally a little pink.
ReplyDeleteThe outfit with the location is just fabulous! I absolutely love the burnt orange tights! Gorgeous photos!
ReplyDeleteI adore the Rachel Antonoff dress on you. It's stylish.
