How The Heather Looks

This field at sunset is clearly one of my favorite places to take photographs in; the light changes so much depending on the time of day, but it pretty much always ends up being lovely. Fields like this one also remind me of Bronte novels--they really captured the somewhat mystical nature of moors and fields. It's all very real (complete with insects), but somehow around sunset you still wonder if you're going to find a pixie ring or something equally preposterous. Sometimes nature is so lovely it just seems unreal.

I think it's a little funny how we all know what nature looks like, but every time we're in it we are surprised by its beauty. The collar of your dress is gorgeous and unexpected. I don't think I've ever seen a collar quite like that.

Taking pictures in the field was definitely a good idea. Everything looks so serene and calm and you in that dress, really pulls in what is going on around you.

Hi Rebecca! My name is Roxanne, and I am interning at TH Productions in NY. I was in the office yesterday when you cam in for your fitting, and I never got the chance to say hello and tell you how beautiful you are. And, I loved those gold oxfords--amazing! I look forward to seeing you again at the show!

Oh my! That dress is amazing!!!
And I totally agree on the Bronte front - I was lucky enough to visit Bronte country and spend a day in the Parsonage in Howarth. It was completely amazing. If you look back to september-time in my blog archives I did a post on it :)

Hi Rebecca! Loving everything about this post - the gorgeous vintage dress, the bag, your pixie cut, and of course, the field, which somehow emanates a dramatic setting. Let me also add that the way you take your pictures, it's like made by a professional photographer.

You're an inspiration to us, girls all over the globe! By the way, greetings from South Korea! =)
