It's interesting to walk down the empty, narrow halls of an abandoned train breathing in the stale air and wondering about its lives past and current. What was it like when it was in use--busy, noisy, crowded? What other strange souls visit it now? The walls are peppered with graffiti tags and the floor is littered with bottles. I always wonder if one evening I'll stumble across another curious spirit who wandered out here to explore a decaying past.

I absolutely love this! I am glad that I am not the only one who thinks these kind of things. I love finding little places like this where you just know it is full of history.
ReplyDeleteHow do you find places like this? I suppose you just wander a lot and stumble on amazing things? I love that dress and how it reminds me of cave paintings, and it looks great with the biker jacket.

Beautiful pictures!
ReplyDeleteI love your photographs! Although in this post, I found myself squinting at that third picture, trying to read what's written on that board. Was it already there or did you write that?
ReplyDelete@Sarah, haha all the writing was there when I got there. If I did add I'd probably do stencil graffiti; I definitely wouldn't use profanity. haha, not my style :)
ReplyDeletethese pictures are, again, amazing! I'm so jealous of your train car! I'd love to have a special little place to visit and take photos in.
ReplyDeleteI especially like the second pic of you sitting down at the bar... you look like a time traveller. which is my favourite thing to look like.

ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous of that train, it makes an awesome setting! all the abandoned trains here are just plain ugly - and also locked up :)
ReplyDeleteI used to explore abandoned places a lot. Its always fun for me to see you at this abandoned train car. Especially in that cute outfit.
ReplyDeleteIt's so beautiful! I wish trains looked the way they used to, now they are dark and boring. You look so pretty as always!
