Lemon World

This dress was waiting for me when I arrived in Pennsylvania. My roommates were quite amused to receive boxes for me before I even moved in, but I do most of my shopping online so boxes in the mail are far more frequent than trips to the mall. This dress is a gift from Lauren Moffatt from the S/S 2012 collection and absolutely dreamy. The skirt is covered in delicate little flower sequins and the top features a faux peter pan collar. It feels like the perfect summer dress for lounging in sunshine and sipping lemonade.

Such a darling dress! I've been wanting to wear yellow but it looks horrible on me, and now I think a nice pure yellow in a skirt would be perfect! Thank you for inspiring yet again!

@joanna, oh yes--I always believe sticking unflattering colors on your lower half is the trick to wearing them. :)

You might've already mentioned this in an earlier post, but what are you doing to get those effects on your photos? Lovely dress and post! :)

Rebecca, The Clothes Horse said...

@andrea, it's just multiple processes and layers--it's hard to describe really since it isn't one step. Just, you know play around in photoshop & stuff.
