Long Goodbye

As I was packing to move up to PA I put this dress aside to put in storage with winter things and vintage pieces I need to replace the zippers on and other odd bits that I don't need to have around this summer. After I packed my car full of the things I do want to have this summer I had few options left to wear and ended up throwing this dress on. Wearing it reminded me of how much I like it, so now it's going to PA with me as well. It's hard for me to pack clothes because I obviously have more than I need wardrobe-wise, so how to prioritize? Anyway, this is one of my last posts from Virginia; you won't be seeing these train tracks again...

  2. Glad you snagged this out of the pile. I love the neckline. And the color suits you very well!

Out of curiosity (and you may have mentioned this) what military branch do you stay in? My fiance is in the Air Force.

  8. @Jhan, I feel awesome about it. I mean I'm moving to an old farm house in PA with a couple of girls--one of them is a friend from college. So it's a willing move; one I'm choosing and I'm excited about it. I don't know there isn't too much to say about.

The teal... every girl needs at least one piece of teal in her closet. Really.

  21. Its simple but its shape and color are so pretty, it doesn't need anything else.

Something in how you worded this made me think-Are you just in PA for the summer or longer?

  23. @Kristian, I'm not sure yet. The place I'm renting might not be available in the fall--this is a full on move so it's not like I'll go back to VA; I just don't know where I'll go in the fall if my house I'm at goes off the market. I might find somewhere else in PA or go out west...
