Trousers Of Decorum

I packed this outfit to wear while in New York, but thankfully had another fall-back outfit in my suitcase since every day I was in that fair city was far too hot for trousers. September fashion week might be the time when we're viewing the spring collections for the next year, but it's the time when everyone wants to be wearing the latest fall styles...and it's almost always impossibly hot for such things. I just felt these trousers would be a chic addition to my fall wardrobe and was looking for an excuse to wear them somewhere slightly special. Still, they were more than adequate for a day of running errands and an evening of trying to work my Polaroid camera (I seemed to have broken it with the move).

Outfit details:
UO blouse
Clinque lipstick

Pretty lady! I really like it when you wear dresses and skirts, but I have to say you rock pants as well! You look like a french or british 60s movie icon in these pics. I think it's your cute pixie cut fault, or it might be the pants+flats, I dunno, but the result is lovely and effortlessly retro! Love it!

How does the sizing in those trousers run? Would you recommend them? I am generally a 0/25 in pants and am 5"2. I've been looking for a cute pair of trousers forever and those look great on you!

these are really beautiful - and so sad your camera broke! that sucks - polaroid film is so hard to find though - i used mine all up back in like 2010. and i love the pants on you - i think it just got cool enough for me to consider covering my legs up too

I know you're not a huge pants lover, but these look gorgeous on you. Long lean photo machine. :)

@Marie, they run true to size in the waist, but definitely narrow in the hips & butt. I was surprised by how snug they are on the bum considering how flat I am there! :)

Gorgeous photos! Nice to see a full smile on you too. :) Where can I find that lovely blouse (or something like it)?

@Aurora, thank you! All my outfit details are listed, the blouse is from Urban Outfitters. I couldn't find it on their website recently, so I don't know where else it can be found. :/
