How fun is this sheep cardigan from ever+mi.crush? I love the way the sheep vary in size and placement over a traditional print. Anyway, the cardigan and decent weather was a nice excuse to visit this abandoned barn again. This beauty is called the "Star Barn" which is slightly interesting since there are numerous barns featuring star decorations throughout this area still in use today. They're most common in German-Amercian communities and are sometimes considered lucky the way a horseshoe charm might be. They've been around since the 18th century and are still pretty popular in my area today.
Oh the Star Barn :D I work like 5 minutes from here - it's an interesting building, I've stopped for photos myself after seeing the giant sign off 283 proclaiming it the Star Barn. Anyhow - do you ever get creeped out taking photos here at the people who live in the house across? I felt a little strange as they were home when I took photos. Anyhow - this sweater is about the cutest thing in the whole entire world. Everything with animals, all of the time.
your backdrops are always so interesting. i was going through and though, 'hmm, traditional saddle shoes, im in' but then the detailing!! amazing! so subtle, but so sassy. into it.

Weird, I saw these photos and thought, "Jon took them." I'm not sure what made me think that or recognise them as Jon's work, but I did! They are lovely photos.
