There are certain pop culture references you just can't escape. Short hair, glasses, and an orange dress? I might be unintentionally channeling Velma (from Scooby Doo, obviously). Who, despite my admittedly bookish interests, was not my favorite character in the crew. What can I say, the grass is greener and svelte red-headed Daphne always appealed more as an alter-ego than a character who already seemed to resemble my personality. Anyway, despite the connotations that sprung to mind as I put this together I couldn't resist the ensemble. The glasses are new; the frames were recommended to me and I'm quite a fan.
This message is going to be really cheesy. I've been following your blog since ... over than one year now I'd say. I never left comment because they would always be the same. But I'm so in love (I warned you ^^) with the way you dress, you match colors or materialss, that I have to say it at least once. I also like the fact that you're posting so often. Always new stuff to check.
Here was my fangirl message :) Keep making me marvelling about how fashion can be so natural and beautiful.
i don't know if velma would have rocked a leather jacket... the only way i could imagine her wearing it would be in a pragmatic effort to keep warm if it was offered to her. or maybe she would have trusted in her practicality as sufficient and shrugged off any proffer. hehehe... for some reason, despite being only minimally familiar with the character, this opinion came forth fully formed. hahahaha.

I'll definitely always be more of a Velma than a Daphne, so I can relate. But I'd never want to date a Fred type anyways.
