Under The Boardwalk

The other week my friend Kate and I drove to North Wildwood, New Jersey for a couple of days; where among other things we got to walk the boardwalk and I tried fried oreos for the first time (they were delicious). I think the last time I visited a boardwalk I was a child and it was about as I remember: delicious smelling food every few feet, colorful rides, and giant stuffed animals that really have no place in your life. It'd be quite fun to live near a boardwalk and walk down for a bite and to people watch for an hour or two. Instead, I'm the tourist over-indulging in deep-fried deliciousness and forgetting to apply enough sunscreen. Still it wouldn't feel like a mini-vacation without a slight sunburn and tummy ache, no?
