Never Swap Horse Crossing A Stream

This pre-snow set of pictures slipped through the cracks somehow, but I'm sharing them now. We had a pretty fall this year, no? Anyway, this purse is from my first swap on Swapdom. I traded a dress that didn't fit me very well and I only wore once, for this fun purse which I'm hoping I'll get more use out of. It's a pretty sweet site since you set up your swaps based on what you want you're guaranteed to get something you want. Anyway, crossbody bags like this always remind me of Indiana Jones and make me want to go on adventures--of course to complete the explorer ensemble I'd probably swap the heels for boots and skirt for something more practical as well...

I've been fiddling with Swapdom lately, I love the experience but I haven't gotten any items yet. Oh well. I love the colors in this outfit and that purse is adorable.

I have been following your blog for a few years now and feel the need to finally let you know how inspiring I find you. Now this might seem odd but I am a 43 yr old female with a 17 yr old son. I have to tell you however that I am a young at heart 43 yr old ! I teach high school drama ( how great is that? ) and my days are spent being artsy and amongst teens ( my son one of them! ) I adore what I do.I am inpsired by art/dance and creative process; fashion/photography and travel. My life is inspired creatively every day! I practice yoga and stay fit in mind and body. The reason I want you to know this is that you are reaching people of all ages with your writing and your posts. I have linked some of your artist profiles to my class Facebook page and my students are therefore inspired by your blog! Thank you for your hard work to inspire and create daily on your blog. It goes to show you that no matter what age; you can always be creative; dress amazing ( you do! and I follow your taste in dresses and online shops! ) and young at heart! Happy Hols from the rocky mountains in Alberta, Canada!

@Anonymous, thank you so much for your sweet comment. It was actually the perfect encouragement right now since I've been wondering about maintaining this space and my future. It also reminds me of my first goal with this blog which was to connect to people with similar interests--so often right now the connection is a bit of a monologue from me, so it's good to know that the initial idea of reaching people who I wouldn't know otherwise but share a few key interests with me, is still going strong. :)
