Summer Fruits

Perfect summer print or perfect summer print? I eat more peaches and strawberries than watermelon in the summer, but I love the way it looks in a print. Also, this is one of those dresses that when it arrives I'm less certain of it--so big and loose and boxy which seems especially emphasized on someone of my height (or lack there of) and I almost returned it--but everyone else loves it. Everyone I saw while wearing this dress told me how cute it was and when I showed Thomas a picture, he liked it too! I don't think I'm going to be adding a lot of massive shirt-dresses to my closet, but I guess I should hang on to this one since it seems so popular which works for me since it is very comfortable. There isn't a more perfect dress for backyard barbecues: it's practically theme dressing, lets you indulge in all the burgers you want, and keeps you cool in the late summer humidity.

boater hat (old, similar)

I really like this dress, the print is so gorgeous, perfect for summer! I think the style is really refreshing, it's nice to wear something a little bit different every so often!

This post and the dress makes me so happy. Dunno why but its all summery and young and fresh!! ^_^

The shoes was spot on. Cowboy-esque and girly, one word, cool.

Oh, and on a side note, I prefer watermelon to peaches and strawberries **wink**

Super cute! I think it is wonderful that you chose to keep it. After all, the style of the dress allows for versatility. You could leave it as is, but if you wished to define your waist some day, you could add a belt! A light, breezy dress is going to be useful now. I don't know if it is especially warm where you are, but in Ohio it is pretty hot. Have a lovely day! Thank you for sharing today.

I LOVE this dress! That's actually my favorite style right now, but I understand how a more petite girl might be wary. They're so cute and comfy! I'm glad you're giving this one a chance. :)

On another note--just a head's up that for the past week or so I've been getting autoplay video/audio ads on your blog. I feel like those often annoy site owners and readers alike, so I just wanted to make sure you knew! It makes your site load sooo slowly on my work computer, I often have to just skip it in my reader. I actually had to type this comment on notepad and copy/paste into your comment field because each letter took like 5 seconds to show up on screen. Granted, my computer is especially old and shitty, but still! Haha.

Cool that you're playing with collages now on you outfit posts, but watch out for your resolution. It's looking a little low. Great print!

The dress has such a happy print! I wish I could wear dresses like that, but the shape always makes me look huge! Maybe it's my hips...?

watermelon prints are so cute! sometimes I think I like wearing fruits more than eating them. especially lemons; a lemon print is so fun and retro, but I don't think I've ever purchased a whole lemon in my life!
