I've been wanting to an Anna Karenina inspired series at this train station for awhile. I didn't want to make it too dark (i.e. no flinging myself across the tracks), but I wouldn't have minded it being a little less literally bright! The snow helped set the scene, but this wasn't quite the photoset I had envisioned. Anyway, it's fitting to take some pictures here as I prepare to fly to Northern Ireland to visit Thomas. Although I won't be traveling by train and I'll probably dress more sensibly (yes, to the coat, no to the heels). I always forget until I'm about to leave how many little details there are to take care of; like making sure regular mail doesn't pile up on your doorstep.

Outfit details:
old beret
faux fur collar from a different coat
These are absolutely gorgeous, oh my goodness <3
ReplyDeleteso stunning! your bright red lips and flushed cheeks go SO beautifully with your porcelain skin (do i sound like a creep yet?). this is the kind of look i imagine myself sporting in colder climate. just too lovely!

Great look, I love the russian theme of the photos!! I just hope you don't do what Anna did to end her life at the station. 8o0 (I hope everything is going well)
ReplyDeleteOooh, I love those shoes. Seychelles is probably my favorite brand, and I've been eyeing that pair for a little while now. Great shoot, very picturesque.

I love the whole style of your wardrobe and all your outfits. Your blog inspires me to wear the clothes that I already have more creatively and to dress up more rather than choosing the easy way out and lounging around in a sweatshirt and leggings. I LOVE your blog so much!!!
ReplyDeleteLovely makeup! Would love to know details if possible xx
ReplyDelete@an it's my usual makeup routine plus Clinique "red red red" on the lips--I was honestly freezing during these pics so I think it looks a bit different than usual b/c my skin was changing colors with the cold! :p
