I've been a fan of Cari Ann Wayman aka Yyellowbird's photography for ages. I photograph myself for the fashion blog so everything tends to be stiffly framed and shot--the goal is to showcase the outfit not be excessively creative. But the work and self portraits I really admire are more like Cari's; moody and evocative. She shoots herself primarily in abandoned homes wearing vintage dresses and beat-up saddle shoes in a beautiful play in contrasts. When I'm looking to be inspired her photostream is one of my first stops.
