I'm getting back into fairytales lately. Like C.S. Lewis said, "some day you will be old enough to start reading fairy tales again." I'm more into the fantastic, but slightly more grim ones than the Disney versions. All of this to say Samantha Pleet seems to design clothes that belong in fairytales. Her galaxy dress looks like it's been sprinkled in star dust and makes me feel like a mermaid.

PERFECT ! I'm in love with this outfit ! You're beautiful... Do you use the camera (Canon Mark ii) and same lens (50mm) ? Thanks for your answer. Have a nice day !

Susana Clarke writes wonderful stuff that brings faerie into 19th century England. There's even a BBC mini series from her book! And of course, Lewis' inspiration George Macdonald! I feel like we've talked about this before....
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing I don't love about these photos - the dress - the setting, the colour, the sea shell. So so so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI am so jalous and in admiration at the same time! You look heavenly!
ReplyDeleteI send you love! ♥

Have you read Philip Pullman's Grimm Tales? So good!
ReplyDeleteTotally in love with this dress!
ReplyDeletef you love CS Lewis you should visit the Cregagh Glen in East Belfast - it's near where he grew up and he came up with the land of Narnia while walking around the woods and waterfall. Would be great for a shoot!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! Being a slightly darker ginger I look like a ghost when I try and wear pastels, but your hair goes so well with that colour. Much jealous!
