I love that I *finally* learned how to do a decent bouffant. It probably needs more practice to get it regularly looking chic (rather than lopsided!), but I'm pretty excited to have somewhat mastered this skill for myself. A bouffant just helps me channel my vintage inspirations that much more. Today's look is very rockabilly inspired; it makes me wish I was a Ye-Ye singer or in some 60s girl pop group. The skirt with it's map of Paris print certainly fits the Ye-Ye singer persona. The print reminds me of a Carven collection from a few years ago (I think it was Resort 2012..?); I'm always a sucker for a map print...I've actually been working on a wee clothing line of my own which will feature a cool map print and dragons. More on that when it's ready to launch!

ReplyDelete@Shapeofagirlinla/Sharon, We're not sharing the inside at the moment (altho I did post a pic before of me sitting in one of the windows!). We might do a home tour sometime in the future, but right now we're trying to keep a few things private.

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely dress! I'd go back to the 60's if someone could invent a time machine. The fashions then were fabulous
ReplyDeleteLove the leather jacket and the more feminine blouse and dress!
