Beauty: Easy No-Teasing Bouffant

I've wanted to style my hair in a bouffant for a long time; as a vintage and Bardot style lover it's pretty much a no-brainer that this hairstyle would add to my outfits. But the teasing always drove me crazy. Usually I couldn't get the teasing to look good and every time I did tease I was so frustrated with getting my hair to untangle and feel good again after. Thankfully I have recently found the perfect solution--a no tease half bouffant that gives me the style I covet and doesn't damage my hair at all. It's also super easy and stays in place all day even without hairspray. It's a total win-win.
How to:
-start with brushed straight hair
-gather your hair into a small half-ponytail; a good guide for this is to gather the hair above your ears
-make sure the top of your ponytail is smooth and tie with a small elastic
-roll the hair in your ponytail around your fingers working it towards your neck
-tuck the roll up and under your elastic and adjust the roll so your bouffant is even
-pin in place with one bobby pin pushed through the hair elastic; I only need one for it to stay in place all day, but add a few more pins if it feels loose or to make your bouffant more even
-that's it! you now have a cute bouffant and half-up half-down style; you can gather the rest of your hair into a little twist or style it in another way
