Outfit: All Dressed Up In Ukulele

Lately I've been feeling more inspired by casual outfits; clothes that seem at home in the natural world that would suit a day of hiking or forest picnic. But there's still a big part of me that is a sucker for a fairytale-like outfit--a full, swishy skirt, curled hair, and jeweled heels. These outfits aren't "practical" but they are oh-so-much fun! Ukulele's dresses definitely fit the latter category. Delicate lace, 3D florals in champagne organza, and ankle skimming silk skirts dominate their spring collection. It's pure spring fashion fantasy and sometimes I can't resist indulging in a little fantasy. Of course my version is always fairly grounded; a simple denim jacket keeps things from being too over-the-top and my favorite low heels manage to walk the line between comfort and style. Everything in balance.
