A Few Of My Favorite Plaids

If gingham is the print of summer, then plaid reigns supreme in autumn and winter. At least in my wardrobe. While oftentimes it's rendered cozy in flannels for colder weather, I also love an elegant plaid dress made for parties like this one. It's a perfect retro cut with nipped in waist, full skirt, and the best detail of all--pockets! Sleeves might make it a bit more appropriate for the current temperatures, but I'm not one to quibble over little details like that...although I am fully bundled up now since I'm suffering from the typical winter cold! Everything is starting to look and feel quite festive in these parts. I went to a Winter Ball last week, Christmas markets are starting, and this week is our village's tree lighting ceremony. I do love this season of twinkle lights, presents, and gingerbread. plaid dress-1-7 plaid dress-1-6 plaid dress-1-3

  1. Absolutely adorable! Love it. I love your camera or camera bag? It's perfect either way. Hopefully, that's not a stupid question. I looked in the details to see if I missed it.

    1. It's a vintage camera. :) I do have some bags that look like cameras too though, but this is a vintage one.

    2. Awe, it's cute enough to be a purse :)

  2. Plaid and gingham are my two FAVORITE patterns. I definitely agree that plaid is the pattern of this season! Your hair is so pretty. <3

  3. That's a lovely dress! ♥ I love red in tartan :)
