These photographs by Ali Bosworth make me want a Greek vacation so bad. I want to return to Aegina and Santorini and Athens and to jump off of rocks into the sea again and lay in the sun and wander back to some old resort with chipped paint shutters--sunburnt and blissfully weary.

I really enjoy the colors and mood in Julia Aumann's photographs. Simple moments seem magical when captured in film by the right eye.

I really adore these dreamy photographs of windswept shores and fields. The clothes are by Dream and Awake, a vintage store that breathes new life into old dresses and the photographs are by Eefje de Coninck.

Sometimes I wish I lived in the 1930s or 40s, but then I remember nearly all the opportunities I have now would have been denied to me then and that there is no such thing as a golden era and what I really just want are more clothes from the 1930s and 40s. These photographs by Charles W. Cushman taken in the 1940s do make me long for summer days lounging by the water though.

I'm not as adventuring as I ought to be, but one of my favorite summer activities is climbing trees. The make believe sea really captures the magic of summer and sunlight and green things in these wonderous photographs.
