I only discovered Florence and the Machine the other day, because while I've heard her mentioned from time to time I never made an effort to actually give her a listen. I can be oddly resistent to new music without any logical reason. Watching Rabbit Heart was a bit of a revelation for me; it echoed my visions of Ruth St. Denis and secured my growing passion for a pastel, gothic wonderland.
