The Flowers Have Dried Down To The Root

Some days clothes are more about getting you where you want to go than making a statement. I always reach for this coat when I want to go adventuring...it feels more rugged than my other coats (whatever that means). Anyway, I didn't go on a grand journey, but rather just wandered around some of the dunes near the beach I hadn't explored before.

  4. First to the topic - the scarf is outstanding.

Second - I really love the scenery of your photos. E.g. this grassy hill....it makes me think of Emily Brönte.)

  18. For dunes they don't seem very sandy. Maybe it's just the angle of the pics, you don't really look birdview down on them. Either way, adventures or exploring is always the best passtime I think. I wish I had more exploreworthy environments around me :)

I love this. For most days that is how it is for me. It is about getting to work and being comfortable there. So most days I don't have blog worthy outfits, because I'm dressing for a pure function.

At least your "rugged" coat is a style statement in and of itself. The red tartan really pops and the cut is still feminine and cute.

Your winter attire is so inspiring, Rebecca!
