Thick Blows My Frosty Breath Abroad

After four years (interrupted by studies abroad in Japan and Greece) in Pennsylvania for college, I told myself I would live somewhere warmer and not experience such miserable winters again. Unfortunately, I have not succeeded in keeping that promise to myself! Last year I experienced a very mild winter in Washington State...I had hoped that in moving to Virginia there would be a repeat of that. Allow these pictures to serve as evidence that this has not happened. Perhaps, I'll have to move even further south before next year...

  4. Perhaps Northern California? The Bay Area? Where it never snows, but is foggy and cloudy enough to wear your beautiful autumnal selections and tights almost year-round!

You're always welcome to join Nate and me in Hawaii in 2012!

Again, wearing my favourite clothes. Tights and amazingly comfortable circle scarves.

    You're so adorable.

  6. I LOOOVE those boots...they remind me of the Swedish Hasbeens! I'm experiencing the cold weather too! Makes outdoor blogging a definite challenge! Particularly for the outfit shots when I have to throw off my coat (and then frantically run to wrap myself in it between shoots, haha!)

  13. I spent many of my formative years in VA and miss the snow every Winter. The Winters in The South are very mild, but the Summers are excruciating.

  21. As much as I like to complain about the cold weather too, I have to admit that I do enjoy having 4 distinct seasons. The snow may be harsh, but altogether I like having it (at least that's what I tell myself everyday in the winter!)
Anyway, I LOVE that jacket, and I finally got a circle scarf like yours!

  23. PA winters are brutal. I always want to move to a warmer climate but then I think about how big the bugs get. And that gives me the heebie jeebies.
