After four years (interrupted by studies abroad in Japan and Greece) in Pennsylvania for college, I told myself I would live somewhere warmer and not experience such miserable winters again. Unfortunately, I have not succeeded in keeping that promise to myself! Last year I experienced a very mild winter in Washington State...I had hoped that in moving to Virginia there would be a repeat of that. Allow these pictures to serve as evidence that this has not happened. Perhaps, I'll have to move even further south before next year...

You are wearing my favorite tones. The floaty dress and leather jacket work like a charm.
ReplyDeletethese photos are kind of magical, you're still stylish despite nature trying to blow you over haha
ReplyDeletethose boots are amazing, I love the tones!
Perhaps Northern California? The Bay Area? Where it never snows, but is foggy and cloudy enough to wear your beautiful autumnal selections and tights almost year-round!
ReplyDeleteYou're always welcome to join Nate and me in Hawaii in 2012!
Again, wearing my favourite clothes. Tights and amazingly comfortable circle scarves.
You're so adorable.
XX.
Mae Lu, @ thereafterish.
These are beautiful photos. I love your boots! x
ReplyDeleteI LOOOVE those boots...they remind me of the Swedish Hasbeens! I'm experiencing the cold weather too! Makes outdoor blogging a definite challenge! Particularly for the outfit shots when I have to throw off my coat (and then frantically run to wrap myself in it between shoots, haha!)

ReplyDeleteHow could you ? You're so brave (in fact I admire fashion bloggers who shoot when it snows) !
ReplyDeleteI spent many of my formative years in VA and miss the snow every Winter. The Winters in The South are very mild, but the Summers are excruciating.
ReplyDeleteThat's exactly why I love living in the Pacific Northwest. It's 52 degrees in Portland right now! Love it, I can't stand cold.
ReplyDeleteSo, you could try Brazil, Rebecca.
ReplyDeleteWe only see snow by pictures.
I always love your photos! You have a talent for always looking lovely, no matter what weather or background there is!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely dress <3
ReplyDeletegirl, those shoes are amazing. keep up the good work. haha.
ReplyDeletegirl, southern california is having like 75-80 degree days! Winter has been mildly chill up here in San Fran, not bad and not snow but just a tad bit chilly for me.
ReplyDeleteI love all your snow flurry photos
This jacket fits you so perfectly! I think so every time you wear it! Love the way it toughens up your pretty dresses!
ReplyDeleteyay got on your blog with firefox finally!! catching up on all the posts ive missed. i just love your blog :) love the insect prnt dress from asos from your remix.. xo
ReplyDeleteAs much as I like to complain about the cold weather too, I have to admit that I do enjoy having 4 distinct seasons. The snow may be harsh, but altogether I like having it (at least that's what I tell myself everyday in the winter!)
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I LOVE that jacket, and I finally got a circle scarf like yours!
I love the boots..

PA winters are brutal. I always want to move to a warmer climate but then I think about how big the bugs get. And that gives me the heebie jeebies.
ReplyDeletelove the boots! wasn't it difficult to shoot while snowing? hope we have snow in our country!

This looks like a pretty gentle winter, but i have to say, I agree with you on wanting to move somewhere warmer. -18 is not my thing (what it was here today).
ReplyDeleteLove this outfit and the combination of colours. Also, the boots are stellar
Come to the Central West coast. I just put of pics of us out and about today. It was 70 degrees! You would LOOOOVE it!
ReplyDeleteLovely outfit. You may need to move somewhere like California to avoid snow all together.
