When I look through my archives I occasionally notice some funny little occurrences. Such as this dress; I nearly always seem to wear it on overcast, miserable days. The first time I wore it out it rained and rained. The second time I wore it was on a dreary day in spring when the weather felt more like winter. Is this dress provoking terrible weather?
magnificent dress it is!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love your remixes, and this dress is just so pretty! That's so strange about the weather when you wear it!! Maybe you subconsciously pick it to make you feel better in overcast weather =D

pretty dress !
ReplyDeletepretty! I also have to tell you, the vintage illustration in your last post is from "Putte in the blueberry forest" a Swedish childrens classic by the author and illustrator Elsa Beskow. Brought back memories, I used to love her books.
ReplyDeleteall i know is i can't decide what outfit combination is my favorite, because i like them all.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great dress! I either like the first outfit or the bottom-left one best. Hard to decide!
ReplyDeleteI have clothes like that too. They must just go with certain moods.

I have a dress just like that-- well, not style but you know what I mean. It's a blue polka-dot number and I only seem to wear it on rainy days. Even on seemingly nice days, one glimpse of that dress and the clouds cry.

I like every single way you remixed this dress! Too bad the weather never cooperates when you wear it....but you know, it still looks good in all the shots!
ReplyDeleteLovely outfits! Where was the first photo taken?

ReplyDeleteI love your outfit posts, they are very inspiring :)

ReplyDelete@Muffin Top Vintage, it's a vintage dress...I actually don't remember where I bought it! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's interesting; in most of those pictures I wouldn't particularly notice the dress itself (although the top is really interesting) but it's an absolutely perfect remix dress for that reason. Very much the chameleon!
ReplyDeleteI think this dress is absolutely darling! seriously, the sun must be jealous or something :))
