I was saving this dress for a special occasion; a night out or something. The dress is from the bridesmaids section and I do love the soft sea foam shade, but I rarely find an excuse to get super fancy, so the other night I invented one. I borrowed a projector from one of my housemates and covered the walls of the dining room with an image of the Rosette Nebula. It was bit blinding to stare into the light, but I really enjoy the way the pictures came out. I rather felt like dancing in front of the projected images of the stars--I'd cover my walls with images like this if I could.
this is such a lovely idea! oh my! the projector idea with the nebula is really enchanting! i love it! it's almost hard to tell what the colour of the dress really is, but it's a nice effect!
this looks so cool! we used to have neighbors who had a projector and I miss being able to borrow it. my husband loves space a ton ( he's obsessed with that Eve game) so I got him this cool lamp thingy for christmas that makes the whole room look like space and I'm excited to see his reaction!
These photos are incredible Rebecca! Absolutely brilliant.

ReplyDeleteThis is so neat - it looks like a photo manipulation at first glance, but knowing that it's real makes it so much better. Lovely!

What a great idea! For a second, I thought that the dress camouflaged perfectly to the wallpaper.
ReplyDelete. . . Is it weird to think that you would derive a lot of satisfaction by owning dresses in interesting wallpaper prints?
Hopefully not. At any rate, props for creativity. I can't wait to try it myself.
These photos are incredibly cool. Where do you come up with these ideas?
