Summer In The Sun

Green is slow coming and these photographs were taken on one of those days that feels like "summer in the sun and winter in the shade" (to quote Charles Dickens). No one can deny it has been a slow spring, but exciting things are beginning to happen. My housemates have been hosting some friends from Northern Ireland and it's been quite fun to meet some new and interesting people. Every so often it's nice to be forced out of my reclusive ways to try a new diner or explore downtown on a First Friday with new friends. Balmier evenings make such outings imminently more fun--it isn't a pain to linger outside of a store or in a random parking lot. Of course company always helps those moments pass quicker as well. Also, conversations with accents really trigger wanderlust, no? Now when can I pay my own wee visit to Ireland?

That sweater looks perfect. I cannot wait for the leaves to start growing. I want everything to be green already :)

My bestie went to Ireland last year, the photos were gorgeous! It's definitely a place I want to journey to as well.

I'm from NI! It's cold for the majority of the year, but it's so pretty. If you come to Northern Ireland, you should definitely be taken a drive along the coast - you see everything that way!x

I'm from Northern Ireland :) coastal and glens area is definitely the best! Sometimes I don't appreciate it because I am so used to it but I really should, it is beautiful. Dublin is better for a city trip :)
