Somehow Harrisburg got voted one of America's most romantic cities. Since I went to college a stone's throw away I find that hard to believe. I mostly think of the city by crowded clubs on first street and delicious burritos and awful roads with terrible parking and a couple of good vintage shops...it never seemed the least bit romantic to me. The only spot I can see deserving of such a label is the paths by the river--in summer they're gorgeous. You can walk beneath the arching bridges and watch the sun set, or find a bench or grassy knoll and enjoy a picnic (as I witnessed firsthand shortly before taking these pictures). It wasn't a romantic evening for me, but it was a lovely brief jaunt followed by a diner visit--which is always a good way to close an evening. I'm still wondering how Harrisburg got voted as so romantic...

Love the dress! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, especially when you can see the silhouette :-) x

Yeah, 'romantic' is a word I have definitely never, ever used to describe Harrisburg. Truly curious. Beautiful photos though - riverfront park is always a wonderful spot.

ReplyDeleteDon't know how romantic Harrisburg is, but your dress and flowers in your hair sure do look romantic to me. And so do these photos by the water at sunset.
ReplyDeletebeautiful as always

That is interesting! I never would have picked Harrisburg to be romantic. Unless going by these photos alone. Then it is very deserving of the adjective.

Wow, this is probably my set of photos that I've ever seen from you! I love the lighting in this one, and your outfit ^_^. Everything looks so serene...
ReplyDeleteI'm curious as to where you live. You mention in many posts you live outside the city or in the countryside. Is it just outside of Harrisburg? Just wondering since I happen to live in Lebanon, not too far from Harrisburg.
