Thunder-Harp Of Pines

Basic weekend wear--even on rainy days it's quite warm right now which suits me well enough. This year's summer storms have been rather wild. Sometimes it's raining hard while the sun still shines and other times it's as clear as day and then with a thunderclap you're in a sudden downpour and the roads are flooding. It's all inconvenient when you get trapped outside or are trying to drive somewhere, but it can be very entertaining if you have the time to sit on a back porch and watch the storm roll by. I snapped these pictures on a rainy morning that couldn't quite decide if it wanted to be pleasant or not; definitely a good morning to have my umbrella conveniently stashed in my car.

That umbrella has been on my wishlist for ages, it just doesn't rain that much where I live. I love the effects on the photos themselves.

Your hair matches your sandals! I used to have my whole head blue, but it was so difficult to keep it from getting all over my clothes when it rained or when I sweat :-( I really admire people who are able to keep that up! If you have tips on how to keep the color in and keep it from getting wet and spreading all over your clothes, that would be wonderful.
