I resisted for quite awhile but I have finally succumbed to the cat tights I see populating most corners of the web. Mine are from Choies, but I've seen bloggers wearing them from all over. It's almost funny the prevalence of cat products one finds on fashion blogs, but I think there might be a correlation between frequent Internet activity and cat ownership. I would still be an outlier (although I'm quite a fan of Timmy) as I have no cat and I grew up in a largely dog household. Anyway, I'm loving them as a transitioning piece into spring temperatures. I'm always a bit frustrated this time of year when it's not quite warm enough to go bare-legged and I often end up in dark tights which just feel so fall and wintry when I'm craving bright colors. I'd be happy enough to skip from winter coats and a dark palette straight to summer brights and the lightest of layers.

You, your curls and your look are just awfully cute <3
ReplyDeleteAdorable outfit and I absolutely love your red hair lately :) though I kind of also miss your shorter 'dos :) :) I bought my cat tights during our honemoon in Japan, so I am extra fond of them, mine look like a little tattoo, you can see me with them here ;) : http://www.thecatyouandus.com/catweek-stray-cats/
ReplyDeleteNevertheless I would love a pair similar to yours as well in my wardrobe!
SO pretty! Were these taken with film? If not what did you edit them with? Alex

ReplyDelete@Alexandra Marie, they're taken with my usual camera--canon mark. I edited them in Lightroom which I've been using for all my photos for a few months now, I just played around with the colors more. I always go back and forth between wanting very natural-looking colors and playing with editing to see what I can do.
ReplyDeleteThank you for all the inspiration you give us, your spirit, your style, and your genuine love of clothes and beauty.
ReplyDeleteBut Please, Please, Please, stop wearing those Seychelles Oxfords, it is driving my wife, Karen, crazy that she cannot find a pair, Identical or even close! If she could reach thru the screen and grab them she would!!
I have been "demoted" from loving husband to "Shoe Searcher".
With Warm Regards,
Tom
So cute.
ReplyDeleteI so wish it was consistently warm enough here for dresses and skirts to be consistently worn. For me it's jeans, jeans, jeans all the way :P Not to mention that I live in a fairly windy city so my dignity might be at stake too haha
ReplyDeleteThere is a little of a cat crazy that seems to exist always haha. Can't say I haven't been tempted by these cat tights I've been seeing.
