This coat with its fluffy (faux) fur trim makes me feel a bit like a Russian Czarina (as imagined through a mix of old movies and fairy tales and probably very little basis of reality). When I first put it on I thought "wouldn't this look terrific in the snow?" And as luck would have it, it decided to snow in Northern Ireland a few days later and I got to see just how well it suited the new white-dusted environment. It fits the wintry setting well, no? With such a beautiful statement coat the rest of the outfit seems secondary; I hardly see the point of wearing an interesting dress when the coat is so lovely so a simple LBD and some matching accessories were all that was needed.

DeleteSorry the link isn't working, this post is more than 2 years old. But the brand is listed at the bottom of the post--the coat is by Alice's Pig. https://www.alicespig.com/
