I usually reserve pink for spring and summer, but when I saw this fluffy sweater by Sezane I couldn't resist adding it into my fall closet. I'd usually pair pink with blue or even black, but this time around I couldn't resist styling it with one of my most popular fall colors--oxblood. I've been wearing a lot of reds this fall, from cherry to burgundy; perhaps inspired by all the beautiful red vines that seem to be decorating the countryside lately. Pale pink might feel quite light and spring-y, but paired with a deep red cord skirt it feels fresh while still seasonal. To keep me further in the seasonal feels I pinned on my favorite vintage spider brooch. I wear this spider brooch all the time when autumn rolls around, it just seems to go with everything and looks great pinned on the collars of my coats. I like how it gives me the Halloween vibes but in a more sophisticated way than most kitschy accessories. I'd like to get more vintage spider pins (and I do link to a few below from Etsy if you fancy one for yourself) and other Halloween inspired accessories that are on theme but chic.

You're the queen of unexpected colour combinations, Rebecca! Seriously, you can pull off any shade and any pattern. Super cute outfit! 💕💕
