While I was at the beach I also shot a video amongst the dunes. Nearly all of the shots were taken with my tripod, but my father did help me by taping one of the clips for me. It's really just one of the silly, pretty little videos I like to make. This summer I would like to make more videos with a bit of plot to them, but they take forever to shoot with all the running back and forth involved. My videos are shot with my Flip Camera and then edited in iMovie on my Mac.
Next week I promise to post my first talking video and I'll reveal my end-of-summer plans in it (hint: it's going to be amazing).
*the song in the video is We Learned the Sea by Dar Williams
You're such a sweetheart, I love your videos they always inspire me :)

That's one of my favorite Dar Williams songs. I can play it on guitar. My favorite line is: I am the captain and I have been told, but I am not shaken, I am eight years old. And you are still young, but you'll understand that the stars of the sea are the same for the land.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a lovely song. Off I trot to iTunes now...
ReplyDeleteI really appreciate the videos you create and share here. I've been meaning to add video to my blog. I've got a silly youtube channel for the embarrassing songs I write, and have actually considered posting "singing" blogs. Too out there, perhaps? Still, your creativity is rubbing off on me! Thanks. <3
