I don't even know how long I've been reading Happy Honey and Lark, but it's been awhile. Kallie's blog really feels like a peek into her life--many of her outfits are snapped in her apartment and she shares images from game nights with her friends. There's just something very friendly and open about her style that draws you in (she also dresses really cute). Anyway, I interviewed her in the form of dream party and you can find her answers below.
What type of party is it? Crazy Hat Dance Party.
Who's invited? Everyone who likes to dance, wear hats and have fun. The more people who come the better. Probably all of my friends and all of their friends. This of course includes all of the wonderful bloggers I've met along the way!
Where does it take place? On the roof of an 8 story apartment building with a perfectly obstructed view of New York City where the buildings in your line of sight frame the skyscrapers in that way that makes them look majestic and mysterious like a forest of brightly lit electric trees. Somehow there is a giant trampoline, and its safe so you don't get carried off by the wind.
What are you serving? Barrier Brewing Rembrandt Porter in a keg. Cocktails made with St. Germaine and Champagne with mint leaves from the garden. Narragansett Summer Ale. Fox Barrel Pear Cider. Rootbeer floats for my non-drinking pals. Grilled zucchini and eggplant, cheeses, olives, gummy bears and cheese doodles for the refined palate.
Who would get to sit next to you? I plan to dance or hang out around the kitchen flitting around between groups of people, sharing drinks, stories, dance moves and bouncing on the trampoline.
What is everyone wearing? People who know me say I overdress from time to time or really all the time, but life is occasion enough to be dressed up and this party would be no exception. Poufy party dresses, vests and ties, dancing shoes, and of course a hat!
Is there entertainment? It would be cool to have a live cover band playing all the great songs of the 50's and 60's. Everyone will sing along and dance like crazy and play all night. They will also invite my musically inclined guests up to sing with them.
Are there any party favors? Breakfast sandwiches and oranges to eat while we watch the sun come up.
What are the hot topics of the evening? Hilarious stories, concerts and music, politics, movies and obviously gossip but only the kind that doesn't hurt anyone.
Who is the most likely to get drunk and dance on the table? Me. I'm kidding (I'm not kidding). In all seriousness it would be down to me and my best friend simultaneously taking the party to the next level, literally, by getting up on a table and dancing. Though at this party, with a trampoline, it would probably be more fun to bounce to the beat.
Who is the last to leave? I'm notorious for falling asleep at the worst possible times and in odd places but I won't leave. No one will leave until the morning, when the sun comes up and everyone heads to the beach to sleep all day.

One of my latest blog addictions has been Visionary Dreams written by Danielle. Her style is just fantastic; I love the way she layers and mixes colors and just basically everything. To get to know Danielle better I had her plan a little dream party.
What type of party is it?
An arts themed party, filled with conversations about music, literature, photography, acting, painting and fashion.
Who's invited?
An eclectic mix of influential individuals, past and present: F. Scott Fitzgerald, Jane Austen, Charles Dickens, Vladimir Nabokov, Bach, Conor Oberst, Kristian Matsson, Andy Warhol, Monet, Salvador Dali, Christian Bale, Emile Hirsch, Christian Dior, Coco Chanel, Stella McCartney (as an animal rights activist, I would die to meet her), Ansel Adams, Sebastião Salgado, the list goes on and on...
Where does it take place?
A wide open but cozy lounge room, complete with mood lighting, kitschy art decorations, soft music and a fully stocked bar.
What are you serving?
All of my favorite foods. Thai, Mediterranean, Indian and Mexican. There will be no shortage of vegetarian food, since my diet is strictly meat free.
Who would get to sit next to you?
Stella McCartney and Sebastião Salgado. I would love to talk with Stella about animal rights, as the well-being of all creatures is something I hold dear to my heart. Sebastião and I would discuss issues surrounding civil rights in third world countries, as well as his phenomenal use of contrast in black and white photographs.
What is everyone wearing?
The theme of the evening is the roaring 20's, summer style. Classic florals, dramatic hats, clean whites, linen suits, bow ties and all that jazz.
Is there entertainment?
The evening will be filled with loads of folk, indie, dream pop, lo-fi, experimental and electro pop music.
Are there any party favors?
There aren't any party favors, though everyone is required to bring a book which will be exchanged with another guest at the end of the night.
What are the hot topics of the evening?
Life stories, religion, politics, personal belief systems, the arts, and just a bit of gossip.
Who is the most likely to get drunk and dance on the table?
Everyone will dance on the table, which will eventually lead way to all of us falling on the ground giggling with excitement.
Who is the last to leave?
I would be the last, as the host always sticks around till the very end.

Scathingly Brilliant is a delightful blog by Kate that looks as if it should be edible; even her hair reminds me of cotton candy! I enjoy her creative posts and whimsical fashion sense, so I asked her a few questions about a dream party that could only take place in her imagination.

A slumber party!
Who's invited?
Carl Sagan, Edward Gorey and his cats, Kurt Vonnegut, Mulder and Scully (from The X-Files), Clarissa Darling (from Clarissa Explains it All), Hayley Mills, Robert Redford circa 1969, Woody Allen, Will Arnett and Amy Poehler, Belle from Beauty and the Beast, Julie Christie, Tigger, Ned and Chuck (from Pushing Daisies), my family, my best friends, my cats and Michael Scott from The Office. I know Michael Scott has ruined a lot of parties, but he promised he'd behave for mine if I let him do a stand-up routine.

In a 12th century castle in Ireland.
What are you serving?
Pizza, popcorn, lots of slumber party snacks and sparkling grapefruit juice. And Ned baked a bunch of pies in every variety imaginable. The apple was especially delicious!
Who would get to sit next to you?
My cats on one side, in little kitty booster seats, and Mulder on the other. We can talk about alien conspiracies while Carl Sagan gives us a disapproving look from across the table.
What is everyone wearing?
Since it's a sleepover, everyone is wearing pajamas!
Is there a special play list or entertainment?
The Pogues stopped by for a short live performance, and then we spent the rest of the night playing board games and watching classic black and white films being projected on one of the giant castle walls. Oh, and Michael Scott got to do his little stand-up performance, too!
Are there any party favors?
Everyone got a mix-tape of songs from the party and lots of little do-dads like the ones that you'd get in goody bags when you were little… candy necklaces, Lisa Frank stickers, bubbles and slinky toys!
What are the hot topics of the evening?
Our favorite books, astronomy (Carl Sagan led an impromptu star-gazing session on the castle lawn!) and movies. And lots of gushing about our pets.
Who is the most likely to get drunk and dance on the table?
Nobody danced on the table, but Tigger bounced on it!
Who is the last to leave?
After all of the guests are gone, I surprise my family by telling them that I bought the castle and we never have to leave! …. A girl can dream, right? :)

Lately I've really enjoyed reading the blog Lost in the Haze. What type of party is it?
It’s a sunny day picnic party!
Who's invited?
Willy Wonka, Finn and Jake (from Adventure Time), Edie Sedgwick, the BFG, Falcor (the dog/dragon in the Neverending Story), Anna Karina, blogging friends, real friends, Aslan (from Narnia), Elvis Presley, and all of the wild things from Where the Wild Things Are.
Where does it take place?
In a massively oversized field next to a circus. There is a Ferris wheel, a ghost train, bouncy castles, bumper cars, arcade games, and a rollercoaster.
What are you serving?
For drinks; cider, ginger beer, and peach tea. For food; pizza, chips, lolly cake, and cupcakes (my tastebuds are easily pleased!)
Who would get to sit next to you?
My fella, Barnaby, would be on one side! On the other side would be Aslan.
What is the theme?
The theme is ‘Teddy Bears’ Picnic’. We all have to dress up as bears, with painted faces and fuzzy ears.
Is there special entertainment?
Before eating, we would venture towards the rides. We would all go on the rollercoaster, before letting our stomachs settle by watching acrobatics in the circus tent. While eating, we would have more entertainment; a magician would do a magic show while we ate our cupcake dessert.
Are there any party favors?
All guests would receive a ‘goodie bag’ when leaving! There would be sherbet galore, and three-course meal gum; courtesy of Mr Wonka.
What are the hot topics of the evening?
There is tension between Edie and Anna – they both dressed as pandas (with perfect eye makeup of course!)
Who is the most likely to get drunk and dance on the table?
The wild things!
